Add a little pizazz to your Sunday with these Sweet & Spicy Roasted Nuts! A little heat, a little sweet, and the perfect amount of crisp to amplify any dish or enjoy straight out of the bowl! 😋 They are a pinch to make which is good, be use they go fast!
1 1/2 cups raw nuts, any kind
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp Big Horn Cinnamon Pear Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp water
1 tsp Big Horn Chipotle or Harissa Olive Oil
1/4 tsp cayenne powder, optional
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions: In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients (except salt) to create a slurry. Add nuts and toss well to evenly coat. Spread nuts out on a sheet pan lined with a silpat or parchment paper. Roast at 350 for 10-12 mins, or until slightly caramelized (careful not to burn!). Remove silpat from baking sheet and lightly sprinkle with salt. Let nuts dry completely before storing.
