🔥 Smoky Balsamic Steak Skewers with Herb Drizzle
There’s something about cooking outside that changes everything.
The heat. The smoke. The way a simple ingredient starts to feel like something more.
And when the weather turns, it’s hard not to lean into it.
These steak skewers are built for exactly that kind of night. Easy to throw together. Big on flavor. The kind of dish that disappears faster than you expect.
What makes them stand out is the finish.
A rich, slightly smoky sweetness that clings to the edges of the steak and caramelizes just enough over the heat.
That comes from the Espresso Balsamic.
It brings depth, balance, and just enough intensity to turn a simple skewer into something that feels a little more special.

☕ A Better Way to Build Flavor
With grilling, timing matters. Heat matters. But flavor starts earlier than that.
Using Espresso Balsamic gives you a built-in advantage.
It adds:
- A deep, slightly smoky sweetness
- A rich finish that complements beef naturally
- A glaze-like effect as it cooks
Instead of layering on sauces at the end, you’re building flavor from the start.
Simple change. Noticeable difference.

Ingredients:
(This recipe makes 4 servings)
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch cubes
-
1/3 cup Espresso Balsamic
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
Herb Drizzle
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh oregano (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Act 1: Build the Base Flavor
In a bowl, combine steak, espresso balsamic, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Toss to coat and let sit for at least 20 minutes.
Act 2: Skewer & Balance
Thread steak, peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating for even cooking.

Act 3: Heat Things Up
Preheat grill to medium-high.
Grill skewers for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until desired doneness.
(Oven option: broil on high, turning once, for similar timing.)
Act 4: Build the Contrast
Stir together herb drizzle ingredients.
This adds brightness to balance the richness of the steak.
Act 5: Finish & Serve
Drizzle herb sauce over hot skewers just before serving.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
