Double Cherry Chocolate Muffins Recipe
Cherry season is upon us and weβre celebrating with these Double Cherry Chocolate Muffins!ππ« π Fluffy, golden, cherry-vanilla muffins filled with plump and juicy cherries and chocolate chips, these make the perfect anytime indulgence!
β’2 cups reg or GF flour β’3/4 cup packed brown sugar β’1 tsp baking powder β’1/2 teaspoon baking soda β’1/4 teaspoon salt β’2 large eggs, room temperature β’1/2 cup Big Horn oil, UP EVOO β’1 cup greek yogurt β’2 teaspoons vanilla extract β’2 tsp Big Horn Black Cherry Dark Balsamic Vinegar β’1/2 cup chocolate chips β’1/2 cup cherries, pitted and quartered
Directions: in one bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, yogurt, vanilla, and balsamic. Add wet to dry mixture and fold together until just combined, careful not to over stir. Spoon batter into muffin tins, adding sprinkles of chocolate and cherries as you go. Fill time to 3/4 way full and add a final sprinkle of toppings. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-28 minutes, or until golden and toothpick comes out clean.
